Mt Rushmore and Flume Trail Hike

Spend the morning touring the Shrine of Democracy in the beautiful Black Hills. Our lunch stop is at the quaint German Alpine Inn Restaurant. The afternoon will be spent hiking 3 miles on the original Flume Trail. Beautiful flora, wildlife and remnants of the Sheridan Lake/Rockerville Flume Trail will be present.

Prehistoric Bones and Stones Hike

Spend the day with a local expert exploring the prairie lands out near the Badlands. Learn the history of the prehistoric creatures that roamed this area millions of years ago. Our amazing guide will point out fossils that most people will never have the opportunity to see. (no fossils may be touched or removed) You will spend time in the agate pits on the prairie looking for the illusive Fairburn agates. If you find one, you get to keep it! (quite a prize) This tour is not for the faint of heart. This is a full day of hiking and adventuring!
